Egor Zigura - Inversion

 The sculpture Inversion emerges within the project Shift of Consciousness as a more geometric, abstract form that opens it to a deeper level of interpretation. As Socrates noted, “the unexamined life is not worth living”: without the effort to understand one’s own existence, life loses its meaning.

Here, the artist draws attention to the illusory nature of our world, where inverted notions and values appear as unquestionable truths. They seek to move beyond habitual perception: the individual evolves into a thinking, self-aware entity. Through reflection, one acquires an inner integrity that enables them to withstand external influences and move closer to themselves.
