Moldovanov. A Walk

Dmytro Moldovanov’s new artwork, created specially for the Abramovych Sculpture Park, embraces the naive aesthetics: unmediated, earnest and brimming with inner freedom.

These fantastical scenes transport the viewer into the dreamworld where reality, often harsh and mundane, gives way to imaginative play. Anything is possible here: a walk with elephants and giraffes, jumping with tigers and lions, gently petting a leopard or even riding a red deer.

This unique work is a metaphor for our yearning for a different reality, optimistic and open to interactions. Moldovanov’s paintings are free of constraints of logic or academic composition. They give voice to a dreamer who stops at nothing and invites the viewer to follow him into the space of imaginary mythological creatures and strange innermost dreams.
